MUSABAQOH COMPETITION !

Bismillah..
Assalamualaikum w.b.t.
Guess what?

Last two months, a Musabaqah Al Quran was held at my college. I entered an Al Quran translating speech (Syarahan Tafsir Al-Quran) competition. My speech was based on verses 38 of Surah At-taubah .

The title of my speech was JIHAD under the concept of DAAWAH.

Alhamdulillah, I won the first place.

Actually I didn’t plan to enter any contest. It was only on that day itself I decided to enter it for the sake of spreading the truth about Islam and the beauty of this religion for the whole community of my college, IPBA (Institut Perguruan Bahasa-bahasa Antarabangsa- International Languages Teacher Training Institute) and not because of I wanna be a famous person in college.

In other words I do it ikhlas lillahi Taala (For Allah). As Imam Bukhari and Muslim mentioned that Rasulullah s.a.w. had once said that “ Jihad means, fighthing to defend Allah’s word” (The Truth-ISLAM).

In Malay language: “Berjuang di jalan Allah (Jihad) adalah berjuang untuk menegakkan kalimah Allah.” Have you ever heard this hadith?

And that was my aim on that day.
