Syahiditusuci: Seeking refuge in
Allah (Istiaadhah)
In this pervasive gloom,
Islam shines like a beacon to lead those who are looking for peace; and for those who are caught in the violent storms of life, it offers the courage and guidance to steer forward.
The
Quran is a manifest miracle for all to see. One of its miracles is that it contains cures and solutions for all mankind's physical and social ailments and dilemmas as
Allah has not revealed any illness except that He has revealed a cure for it.
However, to experience and witness the full potential of
Allah's cure as prescribed in the
Qur'an, we need to have
firm faith in His words and the words of his
Prophet Muhammad (
peace
be
upon
him). Once we have imbedded this
faith firmly in our hearts then we shall see our troubles disappear, whether it is on a global level, a national level or local level. Whether it is concerning other religions and ideologies or amongst ourselves in our own communities or even within our households.
Extracts from the
Qur'aan and the authentic
Sunnah:
Allah is the Protector of those who have faith He will lead them from the depths of darkness into light. . As for those who disbelieve, their patrons are the devils: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (for ever). (
AL-BAQARAH, 2:257)
Whereby Allah guides him who seeks His good pleasure to paths of peace and safety. He brings them out of darkness unto light by His decree, and guides them unto a straight path. (
AL-MAAIDAH,5:016)
Those who deny Our revelations are deaf and dumb in darkness. Whoever Allah wills He sends astray, and whom He wills He places on a straight path. (
AL-AN'AM,6:039)
And…“
O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my tongue, light in my hearing, light in my sight, light behind me, light in front of me, light on my right, light on my left, light above me and light below me; place light in my sinew, in my flesh, in my blood, in my hair and in my skin; place light in my soul and make light abundant for me; make me light and grant me light.”[
HR Bukhari]

Syahiditusuci: "
No harm or good can touch a servant of
Allah except with the permission of the
All-Knower and
All-Wise".
Bismillah Ar Rahman Ar RahimIn the name of ALLAH, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. “
O Allah! I seek refuge with You from distress and sorrow, from helplessness and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from being heavily in debt and from being overcome by men."
“
O Ever Living, O Self-Subsisting and Supporter of all, by Your mercy I seek assistance. Rectify for me all my affairs and do not leave me to myself, even for the blink of an eye.”
"
O Allah, make my love for You the most beloved thing to me, and my fear for You the most fearful thing to me, and remove from me all worldly needs and wants by instilling a passion for meeting You, and when You have given the people of the world the pleasures of their world, make the coolness of my eyes (pleasure) in worshipping You."

Wa akhiran …Ahlan Wasahlan Ya Ramadhan, Ramadhan Kareem!"
O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed upon those before you in order that you may attain taqwaa." [
Surah al-Baqarah (2):183]
Brother
Muslim (s), Sister
Muslimah (s):
Syahiditusuci: Ramadhan Al Mubarak 1426H.
Ramadhan is an auspicious opportunity for believers to renew their commitment to their
Creator and
the Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. This commitment must be both outward and inward, so that a
Muslim not only recites more
Qur'an and offers more units of prayer, but that she or he does so with reflection, humility and attentiveness.
Ramadhan is also
a wonderful opportunity for accounting of one's sins and making repentance.
If one does not repent in Ramadhan, when will he or she do so?Muslims should strive to worship
Allah as best as they can
from the beginning of the month, for that increases chances of the end of the month being good as well.
Muslims must be firmly aware that
Ramadhan is only a means and not an end. Continue being in a state of
IMAN and
TAQWA and perform righteous actions
after the month of Ramadhan, until you die. "
And worship your Lord until there comes to you the Hour that is certain (i.e. death)". [
Al Hijr,15:99]

O Allah make us and all Muslims of those who fast and stand in prayer during the month of Ramadhan based on belief and truly seeking Your reward so that we are forgiven our past and future sins."
"
O Allah make us of those who fasted the month, attained full reward, witnessed Layatul-Qadr and attained success by permission of the Lord, Blessed and Most High.O Allah, verily You are Forgiver, like to forgive, so forgive us."

O Lord, accept from us, verily you are the All-Hearing, all-Seeing, O Living, O Independent, O Owner of all majesty and honor."
